Does 2003b still work at all? I only found some blog entry from 2018 that said they work, but that's 3 years gone now. check your internet connection and try again' blabber. You can double-click on the flower to open the ICQ Window. If you are ONLINE, you will see a green flower ( ) if you ARE ONLINE. You you should see an orange flower ( ) in the system tray if you are NOT ONLINE. Now, there are two questions: first, if it's encrypted, will I even be able to decrypt it with an ICQ client on my new (or, for icq: some random) PC, or is that only possible on the computer I used back then? Second, I tried to install 'old' ICQ (2003b), but it tries to log in for a minute, then gives me a 'can't establish connection. ICQ is launched automatically each time you turn on your computer. Anyways, I'd like to read that whole chat history if possible.

Well, I know who it is, but was only able to read 2-3 messages because the rest seems to be encrypted - which is weird, because there are encrypted messages both before and after those that I could read, but I digress. So I just found my old icq account I used throughout my youth (that number is scorched into my brain, and even my old password worked), and found an interesting log with a person I hadn't had contact with in years.
